JERMITA ROLLINS 

Jermita Rollins, Medical Laboratory Scientist, is an Andrologist at Reproductive Biology Associates with over 6 years of laboratory experience. She is a New York native who relocated to Atlanta GA to complete her Post-Baccalaureate in Clinical Laboratory Science at Emory Healthcare in 2014. She has received her Clinical Laboratory license as well as two academic scholarships from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Technology from Long Island University and a Master’s of Science in Reproductive Clinical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. During her graduate studies, Jermita’s research interest included intrauterine insemination and her research focused on utilizing pentoxifylline to increase sperm motility of cryopreserved specimens for IUI. She is enthusiastic to continue her educational pursuits by procuring her Ph.D. in the upcoming years. Jermita is extremely passionate about advocating for LGBTQ reproductive resources and patient education.


PROF. WILLEM OMBELET 

Willem Ombelet started his career researching infertility and IVF in 1984 in Pretoria, South Africa. In 1998, he obtained his PhD degree at the University of Leuven on ‘The value of sperm morphology and other semen parameters in diagnosis and treatment of human subfertility. From 2001 until 2004 he was the President of the Belgian Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Willem Ombelet (co-) authored 180 international peer-reviewed articles and was a
(co-)-editor of 21 books. He received 2 international awards.
Dr Ombelet is the founder of the Genk Institute for Fertility Technology and the Walking Egg non-profit organization.
He is the past-coordinator of the ESHRE Special Interest Groups on “Global and socio-cultural aspects of infertility” and “Andrology". He is the editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal “Facts, Views & Vision in ObGyn”.
He is the chairman-elect of the ESHRE Special Interest Groups.




ELENA LINARA-DEMAKAKOU

Elena Linara-Demakakou is the Embryology Manager at London Women's Clinic, Harley Street.  She has 15 years' experience in the field of Reproductive Medicine and has played key roles not only in the daily embryology practice but also in regulatory compliance and quality management within the group.

Elena is an experienced Senior Embryologist, a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists, and a member of ARCS and ESHRE. She works hard to ensure the highest success rates but above all the best care and service to patients.

She strongly believes in individualised medicine and she has special interest in embryo morphokinetics and prenatal genetics. She is highly engaged with research and has presented her work in both national and international meetings. She is the STP lead for London Women's Clinic and has been one of the first private IVF labs that gained a licence from NSHCS to train STP trainees for Reproductive Science.





DR. SANGITA JINDAL

Sangita Jindal earned her PhD in Physiology from the University of Toronto, Canada and became a high-complexity lab director in 1997. Dr. Jindal has served on the faculty at New Jersey Medical School-Rutgers, and for the last 20 years has been on the faculty at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York as an Associate Professor and Laboratory Director in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health. She has mentored grant-supported translational research projects for a number of trainees at academic programs, and is also an off-site lab director of private and academic IVF labs across the country. 

Dr. Jindal was President of the Society for Reproductive Biologists and Technologists (SRBT) in 2011,and currently serves on the Executive Council of SRBT and on the Practice Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, among a number of other leadership roles. She is a member of the Editorial Boards of Fertility and Sterility Reviews, and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, and is a reviewer for Human Reproduction and Fertility and Sterility. Dr. Jindal has published over sixty peer-reviewed journal articles and is regularly invited to speak at international meetings and conferences.
