DR. BRONTE STONE
Completed bachelors, masters and PhD degrees at the University of Adelaide. Then undertook and published research in animal and human nutrition, environmental physiology, livestock breeding, endocrinology, evaluation of menopausal gonadotropins, andrology and embryology. Research subjects included pigs, sheep, mice, stump-tail macaque and humans. Since the mid 1980’s, directed clinical and ART laboratories in the USA. Immediately prior to tasting retirement in 2017, was director of chemistry, serology, andrology and IVF laboratories at California Fertility Partners in Los Angeles, and CLIA Director of clinical and IVF laboratories at our satellite in Utah. Currently retaining compliance and regulatory responsibilities in support of CFP’s ongoing licensures and accreditations with the California Department of Public Health, CLIA, College of American Pathologists, the FDA and AAAHC. .
KIMBERLY KIENAST
Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, I decided to move to England to complete my A-Levels. I moved on to obtain my BSc from Royal Holloway, University of London and my MRes in Biomedical Sciences from St. Georges, University of London. After moving back to Hamburg, I started working at Fertility Center Hamburg in 2015. In 2018 I took over as lab director. My points of interest in the laboratory are the time-lapse system and genetic testing (polar body and trophectoderm).
DR. CAROLINE MCCAFFREY
In 2018, NYULFC joined the Prelude Network, a network of top-tier fertility centers across the United States offering comprehensive fertility care. Dr. McCaffrey is an active member of many national and international organizations including ASRM, the Fertility Preservation Special Interest Group, ESHRE, American College Of Embryology (ACE) as well as the NY Metropolitan Embryologist Society and has served on the Board of SART. Dr. McCaffrey has presented at national and international meetings as well as authored and co-authored many peer reviewed publications including several book chapters on various topics related to IVF.
NICK CAMPION
Nick joined ZyMōt Fertility in 2018 with the goal of contributing to future technology within the ever-evolving ART community. Recognizing ZyMōt sperm separation devices as a welcome and exciting advancement for ART procedures, he supports ZyMōt users around the world for the benefit of clinics and their patients in turn.
Nick earned his master’s degree from the Jones Institute at Eastern Virginia Medical School and currently lives in Chicago, Illinois.
CYNTHIA HUDSON
As a working embryologist, entrepreneur, researcher, and industry expert, Cynthia Hudson, has built a unique skill set and singular perspective during her 20+ year career in the fertility space.
As Founder and CEO of Manhattan Fertility Services, Cynthia built and operated the first embryologist-owned, full-service fertility practice in New York City, while developing a pioneering patient experience and novel revenue streams. Her creation of a reference andrology lab, management corporation, and associated medical practice played a critical role in the center’s growth and eventual sale.
She applied this same holistic expertise as co-Founder of Kindbody — a revolutionary reproductive firm that combines best-in-class technology, clinical excellence, and accessible pricing — connecting the full patient experience on one intuitive platform.
In 2004, as Founder and CEO of Cellavita, Cynthia set the bar for Assisted Technology consulting services providing broad-based advisory and laboratory services for client IVF clinics in the U.S. and abroad.
Cynthia is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Hamilton Thorne, LTD, a leading global provider of precision instruments, consumables, software, and services to the Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), research, and cell biology markets.
She is a member of the American Board of Bioanalysis, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and American College of Embryology. As an active researcher, she has authored dozens of published contributions to leading scientific journals, such as Fertility & Sterility, Human Reproduction, and Science. Her work has also been featured in presentations at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology. Cynthia is currently VP Clinical Strategy at TMRW Life Sciences.
SHAISTA SADRUDDIN
Shaista is a clinical embryologist with over eight years of experience in patient management, laboratory skills, and quality management. Her career passions include training, educating, and empowering young professionals to continue to strive towards success and improving the field of ART for the future. Shaista graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Master’s Degree in Reproductive Clinical Sciences from The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. There she conducted research on the validity and consistency of NGS testing on mosaic and aneuploid embryos; and was bestowed the Georgeanna Seegar Jones, MD Award for Academic Achievement in the Reproductive Clinical Sciences. She is currently a senior embryologist at the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Shaista is a founding member of the International IVF Initiative. In her spare time, Shaista enjoys long walks, desserts, books, and traveling.
