Prof. Nick Macklon
Prof. Nick Macklon is Group Medical Director of LWC, LEB and LSB.
He has held full professorships and departmental Cahir positions at the Universities of Utrecht, Southampton and Copenhagen. Widely published both papers and books. Former member of ESHRE Executive Committee and coordinator of ESHRE Special Interest Group in Reproductive Endocrinology. Recently chaired ESHRE Guide to Good Practice in RIF. He has been Associate Editor of Reproduction, HR and HRU and now co Chief editor of RBMO.
Dr. Gareth Dyke
Gareth Dyke is a former academic researcher who worked on the relationship between birds and dinosaurs. He now works in publishing and helps researchers around the world understand the academic publishing process, including writing and English communication skills. He is the Academic Director at Reviewer Credits and the Business Development Director at 4Evolution.
Duncan Nicholas
Duncan Nicholas is a publishing professional with over 20 years of experience in the scholarly journal industry. He is currently employed as Development Editor at Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO), working to enhance the journal’s editorial processes, community presence and scientific impact. He also serves as Director of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), following terms as President, and Council Member. Prior to his role with RBMO, Duncan provided editorial development and training consultancy to major publishers, small independent journals, learned societies and universities.
Duncan is a committed advocate for community-driven publishing, with specialist professional interests including peer review, open access, publishing ethics, journal metrics, and editorial board development. Duncan has contributed to global initiatives such as Peer Review Week and the Web of Science Researcher Academy. His work is grounded in practical, evidence-based approaches to improving scholarly communication and promoting high standards in academic publishing.
Fiona Warrander
After obtaining her PhD in developmental biology at the University of York, she trained in the NHS as a Clinical Embryologist at Jessop Fertility, Sheffield. She has also worked as a Senior Scientific Officer in the Transgenics group at Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute and as a Clinical Embryologist at TFP GCRM Fertility, and as before joining RBMO. This has given her a broad range of insights across clinical work, academic research, and fundamental molecular biology techniques as well as having the attention to detail that embryologists are renowned for.
